Privacy Policy

ClipPack helps creators write titles, descriptions, hashtags and thumbnails for short videos. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it. There are no accounts and no sign-up.

What stays on your device

• Your video file. It is opened inside your browser and is never uploaded as a file.
• Your settings (main platform, language) and, if you activate one, your Pro license key. These are saved in your browser's local storage.

What is sent when you press Generate

• Up to 6 small still images taken from your video, and a short mono audio clip (up to the first 2 minutes) taken from it, plus the one-line note you typed. Your browser creates these and sends them to our server.
• Our server forwards them to Google's Gemini API to write the text you see. Google may also run Google Search to look up current trends for your video's topic. Google's handling of that data is described in Google's own privacy terms.
• If you press "Generate AI photo", the short description you typed is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to create an image.

We do not save your frames, audio, note or results on our servers. Once the answer is sent back to you, it is gone from our side.

Daily limits and licenses

• To enforce free daily limits, we keep a counter for up to one day. It is tied to a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, or of your license key if you use one. We do not store your raw IP address for this.
• If you use a Pro license key, we send it to Lemon Squeezy to check that it is valid. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the seller of record. We never see or store your card details.

Hosting and technical logs

The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure, under its own privacy policy.

Advertising

We may show ads, for example through Google AdSense. Ad providers can use cookies or similar technology to show ads and measure them. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account's ad settings.

Children

ClipPack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
